Where's My Mum

This poor baby bird was found on the ground...we think it blew out of the nest or fell.
We feed him cut up grasshoppers and a bit of scrambled egg and chopped grapes. He died a day later, sometimes I think they die of a broken heart. He just kept calling for his mother, we put the cage outside in the hope that his mum would hear him. But no birds came, so very very sad.
